This weekend at Ben’s Canteen

It’s another rugby weekend and after a shock win against Scotland we’ll surely smash the Italians, won’t we?! Note, we don’t show the games (we’re about conversations rather than staring at screens) but we’re open all day over the weekend to host your pre-match excitement and post match celebration/depression.

Here’s our Weekend To-Do List.

  1. Pop in for a pint and pigs cheeks or one of our other very British small plates.
  2. Tuck into what is rapidly becoming the most famous Scotch Egg in London and pair it with a Sipsmith Bloody Mary. That’s how to prepare for the rugby (or indeed recover on Sunday after the England game).
  3. Try our new Venison dish, it’s a serious plate of food and really rather exciting for this part of London. We’ve also got a new starter for you to sample. Ever tried bacon hollandaise? Probably not. Well now you can.
  4. Get a group of mates together and join us for Sunday Roast and we’ll give you a free bottle of wine.
  5. Book your tickets for our Sophie Michell Celebrity Chef Pop Up event on Valentine’s.
  6. Come and join us for SW London’s busiest and best brunch – we recently added Kedgeree and Porridge with Chilli & Fig compote.
  7. Read the Great Date Guide’s review of the Canteen.
  8. Book a table and settle in for a damned good time whilst you enjoy British food, done well.
