You may have noticed some awesome leather bags in the Canteen of late? They’re designed by our friend under the excellent name of Flights of Nancy. The company started about 18 months ago, inspired by the leather and batik bags they discovered in their travels across Indonesia, they began working on their own designs in partnership with small family-owned businesses in the region.
On the 19th November she is taking over the front of the Canteen for a full blown Flights of Nancy pop-up. Join us from 7pm to see an increased range of products (including medium satchels in dark brown, blue and ginger brown, shoulder bags in blue, caramel and dark brown and blue messengers) and we’re getting into the spirit on the food and drink front…
We’ll be serving Lemongrass & Lychee Martinis and Indonesian inspired food boxes containing Balinese chicken wings, marinated pork skewers with spicy peanut sauce and prawns with a ginger soy sauce.
Don’t forget that you don’t have to wait until the 19th, you’re more than welcome to buy any of the existing bags in the Canteen the next time you pop in… anyways, clear the diary and come join us on the 19th for shopping, cocktails and food – good times!
